My prayer to God
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.” John 14:6
Then everyone who believes in him can have eternal life.” Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. John 3:15-16
Later, Jesus talked to the people again. He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never live in darkness. They will have the light that gives life.” John 8:12
Trust in God’s love
You are valuable in God’s eyes. He extends His saving hand to you. Trust in God’s love. He wants to restore the relationship between Him and you. If you believe that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to take care of your sins. Do you want God to be the most important in your life from now on?
If you openly say, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you will be saved. Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved. Romans 10:9-10
Your prayer to God
It is a big step in your life to become a follower of Jesus Christ and to trust God to be your creator and your guide in life.
Be honest to God and tell Him all the bad things you did in your life. Ask Him for forgiveness. He will patiently listen to you.
Say to God that you would like to be saved by Him. You may speak from the heart!
Tell Him that you want to trust Him and want to change your life. That you want to live according to His will and give Him first priority, even though you may not know what that will be like. You may ask Him to help you.
Say to God that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Who was sent to the world to save you too.
Thank Jesus Christ that He died for the things you did wrong, and that He was raised from the dead. Thank Him that thereby He proved that He was more than just a man, and that He is stronger than death and stronger than our sins.
You may thank God that you are now allowed to be His child. Ask Him to teach you more and more about His love for you.
Take all the time you need to say these things. If you do not know what to say, just ask Him to give you the right words.
We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our faith, Christ has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are very happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory. Romans 5:1-2
God will come into your heart with His Holy Spirit and make you new. He will help you from now on. You are not alone anymore.
Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them. John 14:23
